RuckUp Privacy Policy
Effective date: 17 October 2026. Last updated: 28 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data the RuckUp app collects, how we use it and how we protect it. Data is processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data".
1. What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email, username, password (stored hashed) | Account, sending the sign-in code |
| When a sign-in, sign-up or password reset code is requested: IP address, app or browser type and time — kept for 30 days | Protecting the account from attempts by others |
| Devices your account is signed in on: phone model, OS and app version, last IP address and time of activity — deleted when you sign out on that device or it goes unused for 30 days | Showing where your account is signed in on the "Devices" page and signing out a device you don't recognise |
| Phone number | Account profile; not shown to other players |
| Profile photo (optional) | Shown on your profile and in lists |
| Google account details (if you sign in with Google): name, email, photo | Registration and sign-in |
| Apple ID details (if you sign in with Apple): name, email (may be an address hidden by Apple), Apple user identifier | Registration and sign-in |
| Game data: tournaments, results, duels, PTS and XP | Rating and statistics |
| Chat messages | Delivering messages |
| "Tech support" chat: your messages and the pictures you send (for example, screenshots) | Answering your question, fixing problems in the app |
| Reports and blocks: the reason, your comment, your latest messages with the reported user | Reviewing violations and protecting users |
| Location — only when starting a PTS duel | Checking that you are at the club; coordinates are not stored |
| Push notification token (Firebase) | Sending notifications |
| App error reports (Firebase Crashlytics): device model, OS version, error details | Finding and fixing the causes of crashes |
| Online status and last activity time | Showing friends that you are online |
| A club's request on the website (optional): club name, city, number of tables, contact person's name and phone | Contacting the club to connect it |
Data is used only for the purposes above. The app has no ads, and no advertising profile is built from your data.
2. Who can see it
- Other users: your username, photo, level, PTS and game statistics, friends list and online status.
- The RuckUp website: the top five of the rating (username, status, PTS) and approved clubs (name, address, number of tables) are shown on the website too.
- Your email and phone number are not shown to other users.
- A chat message is seen by the user you wrote to. If you send a report, your latest messages with that user are passed to the RuckUp team for review.
- The RuckUp team: your "Tech support" conversation and reports — to answer and review them.
- The club organising a tournament: details of the players registered for that tournament.
- Service providers: Google Firebase (push notifications and error reports), the email delivery service, the server hosting provider and Telegram (telling the team about a new support request or report: the username and a short excerpt of the message) — only to run the App.
- Where the law requires it — on an official request from authorised state bodies (a court or law enforcement).
- We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
3. Retention and account deletion
Data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, it is deleted completely: access is closed at once, your profile is no longer visible to other users, and within 30 days all your personal data — name, email, phone number, photos, chat messages, friends list, your "Tech support" conversation and notifications — is permanently erased from our servers. So that other players' tournament tables stay intact, results of past games remain without your name and are not linked to you.
4. Security
Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to the server is restricted. Pictures sent to "Tech support" are kept in private storage and open only through a protected link.
5. Your rights
You can view, correct (Profile → Personal Information) and delete your data (Profile → Settings → "Delete Account", or ruckup.uz/account-deletion). You can turn off location and notification permissions in your phone settings at any time.
6. Children
The RuckUp app is not intended for children under 13.
7. Changes and contact
We will notify you in the app when this policy is updated. Questions and requests: the "Tech support" chat in the app or shahzodbekalikov@gmail.com.
